Leicestershire police create Bluetooth success story

In association with various partner organisations in Hinckley, including the local councils and businesses, have just been awarded £125,000 in funding, as winners of the prestigious national scheme named the Beacon Project. One of the key success stories involved in the project, was the use of Bluetooth messaging to the public that helped to reduce crime and anti social behaviour in Hinckley. Astracasting are proud to announce the subsequent purchase by Leicestershire police of x20 Bluetooth messaging systems, that were delivered this week.
